Acupuncture uses the ancient system of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) to allow the body to heal itself by stimulating very specific points and pathways throughout the body. Acupuncture attempts to restore balance to the body’s systems by inserting sterile needles at acupuncture points based on a combined Chinese and Western medical diagnosis. Though it can be traced back over two millennia in recorded history, it, like any medical system, continues to evolve today, and current research on Acupuncture is beginning to shed light on its mechanism of action. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can be used to treat many chronic or painful diseases often with the same or better results than conventional medicine. Some examples are:
Arthritis
Sports injuries
Nerve damage/IVDD
Reproductive disorders/infertility
Anxiety
Allergies
Hormone imbalances
Feline lower urinary disease
Congenital disorders
Seizures
Organ system disease
Chronic diarrhea and/or vomiting
Chronic inflammatory diseases
Palliative Care
